Privacy Policy
Who we are
Arcado.gg is an AI-powered game building platform.
What data we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely via Supabase Auth). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
When you build and publish games, we store the game code, title, and metadata (play count, ratings) in our database.
What you type when building or changing a game is sent to our AI provider to generate the game. Your username, your player card, the games you publish and the scores you set are public on Arcado.
If a game breaks, we save the error message and which browser you used, so we can fix it. Nothing else about you.
If you signed up through another player's link, we store who invited you - it counts toward their Ambassador badge.
To count each play of a game only once, we use a one-way code made from your network address that changes every day. The address itself is never stored.
Payment information
We do not collect or store payment information directly. All payments are processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy.
How we use your data
We use your account information to identify you and send important service updates. When a game you ordered in the chest, or a remake, is ready - or could not be built - we email you; you can turn this off in Settings or with the link in each email. We do not send marketing emails without your consent. We use game data to power the explore page and leaderboards.
Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. We also keep a few preferences in your browser, such as how you sort the catalogue. Arcado is ad-free - always.
Third-party services
Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and CDN), Plausible (privacy-friendly visitor statistics, without cookies), and a third-party AI provider (AI game generation). Each has their own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting it removes your login, your email address, your credits, your drafts and your profile picture, and replaces your username everywhere with an anonymous one. Published games and scores stay on Arcado without your name, because other people's records and remixes depend on them.
You can also email us to ask what we hold about you or to have it removed, and we'll handle the request within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes.
